Has Artimus Pyle of Lynyrd Skynyrd really gone off the deep end?
The same year he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame he released an album taking mean shots at the rest of the Skynyrd family.
His song Spit, slams Johnny Van Zant, saying Ronnie would spit in his face.
He also takes a shot at Ronnie’s widow Judy, in “Dead Rock Star’s Widows gigolos pocket money.”
The next year he was arrested twice for failing to register as a sex offender for molesting his two daughters.
Is it any wonder this guy was kicked out of the band in 1991?

The only good thing he did is the following, after the crash:
Artemis Pyle, drummer, was hurt badly, his ribs were sticking out of his skin, but he ran to get help through two miles of swamp muck and returned back to be with his friends.
