If you print concert tickets do you need to have black ink?

I want to print concert tickets later tonight but my printer has no black ink. Does it matter what color the printed ticket its? Probably a stupid question but I just want to be sure!

Ideally blank ink will work best to get a nice bold bar code to print. You may be able to print without the black cartridge just be sure to select Best when printing. The bar code needs to be dark enough to get picked up by a bar code reader.

If that fails to work, there should be a number below the bar code that people should be able to manually key into the bar code scanner to admit you to your concert.
