How do I take photos of a concert?
I do a lot of band photography as a hobby and I think that I am getting really good at it. There is a big band coming to town and I always see photographers behind the barricades. How do I become one of those photographers?
You need a press card. I doubt you can get a job with your local paper, but maybe you can get one with your school paper, or a local “shopper.”
As a last resort, you could make up your own media outlet and try to make a convincing looking press card with Microsoft Publisher or something.
