Did Elton John ever write both the lyrics and music to one of his songs?
Is there any song that Elton John wrote the lyrics to? or was it always someone else? I know he wrote the music to his songs and there was Bernie Taupin(who is amazing) and some other lyricists but did Elton ever write any lyrics?
There is a song called Come Back Baby performed by Bluesology from 1965, and you will see on the link I provided that it has Reg Dwight underneath the song, which as you probably know is elton John’s birth name. I don’t know of any others but I’m also not very familiar with Bluesology except for a couple of songs. So yes, there is one song that i could find written by Elton John.
